9:30am: Knowing Your Worth and Empowering the Next Generation - with PublisHer

It will offer insights on building confidence, fostering talent, and creating inclusive opportunities for future leaders. Featuring Elena Pasoli, Director of Bologna Book Fair, Perminder Mann, President of the Publishers Association, and Lisa Sharkey, SVP and Publisher, Harper Influence, HarperCollins Publishers US.

10:30am: What does advocacy look like in publishing?
Join Cassie and Yan and an expert panel to unpack what advocacy looks like in the publishing workplace, and how all of us can be better advocates for ourselves and our teams at every level. Diving into The FLIP's "3 Ms" philosophy - money, management and mentorship - we'll be talking to three women who can speak directly to how these factors are key in effective advocacy, and on helping everyone to feel seen and valued in the industry. Featuring Rowzat Burton, head of talent and development at Hachette UK, Cally Poplak, Managing Director of HarperCollins Children's Books and Farshore, and Briony Grogan, Director of People & Culture, Pan Macmillan.
