Bloom

BLOOM is a network with a mission to build a community to connect with and offer support to our ethnically diverse colleagues while providing a safe space to share ideas and concerns, and to work collaboratively to develop programmes that will foster a more inclusive environment and celebrate minority cultures.

Our activities include: hosting a regular Book Club (6 times a year), running author events throughout the year, celebrating annual cultural moments, and social activities. We meet once a month alternating between an update meeting and community meeting. Update meetings are usually where projects leads and the co-chairs will update/request support on upcoming projects and includes members who have joined as allies. Community meetings are a safe space for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic colleagues to just be, socially and share concerns.

Bloom started in 2020 and currently has approximately 50 members in the UK.
